Harnessing The Power Of Chlorine Dioxide, A Cleaner and Safer Tomorrow

Place our Avanflex™ pouch product in any water, anywhere, anytime to create the highest level cleaner, deodorizer. Hospitals, healthcare facilities, food processing, gyms, homes, even flood damange spaces. Never before available, Avanflex™ can be made in 10-15 minutes by simply placing the pouch in it's prescribed 2.5 or 5 gallon bucket or dispenser for up to 100 ppm concentration for industry and consumer use. Shelf life is typically 3~4 weeks once mixed. Our pouch technology brings the power of Chlorine Dioxide to small to medium size users to protect our families from pathogenic bateria, virus, fungi, spore formesrs, and VOC's.

Avanflex™ is a safe, effective, broad-spectrum solution for cleaning and deodorizing surfaces.
Avanflex™ is a slim, lightweight engineered membrane pouch containing pre-measured amounts of the precursors that generate chlorine dioxide ( ClO2 ) . When exposed to water, the patented device releases a pre-determined amount of ClO2 solution in a fast release manner. Avanflex™ generates a solution of ClO2 that is neutral in pH and effective at low concentration. Since the solution is neutral in pH, it is compatible with different surfaces ( e.g., tile, concrete, wood, laminate, vinyl, stainless steel, porcelain, etc. ) . Because it is a stable radical species, ClO2 is capable of reacting with many different odor causing compounds, for example, odors related to sweat, fecal matter, fish, rotten food, urine, smoke, mold/mildew, rotten eggs, skunk, etc.

Chlorine dioxide is a safe, effective, broad-spectrum sanitizer and disinfectant.
Chlorine dioxide is known to destroy microorganisms by attacking their cell walls, creating breaches for the leakage of cell contents and interfering with the transport of nutrients. As a result, the cells die. Most conventional sanitizers/disinfectants try to kill the microorganisms by poisoning them. Once a few microorganisms survive and recover, the future generations develop the resistance against those sanitizer/ disinfectants. When ClO2 is used against the microorganisms, it kills like a bullet hits to the brain, the microorganisms are never able to survive and develop a resistance. Most sanitizer/disinfectant claim to be a deodorizer by controlling the odor causing bacteria. However, these products are not capable of eliminating the odors that already formed from the sources like ClO2 does. Because of its superior capability, ClO2 is truly a broad-spectrum solution: odor eliminator, bactericide, virucide, sporicide, fungicide, and algaecide.

Most conventional products claim to be effective for hard surface sanitation/disinfection. However, literally all these products are ineffective to eliminate the biofilm in a practical and cost effective way. The fact is none of these products are capable of penetrating the biofilm, breaking apart the biofilm matrix, killing the microorganisms ( e.g., legionella ) thriving underneath it. Being a true gas in water, ClO2 is capable of penetrating deep into the biofilm matrix and killing the microorganisms underneath it. In addition, ClO2 reacts selectively in nature, it will not be consumed quickly during the penetration into the biofilm matrix, and it requires only low concentration ( e.g., 0.01% ) to get the sanitation/disinfection process completed.

There are some products ( USEPA registered or non-USEPA registered ) sold in the market as ClO2 solution or stabilized ClO2 solution. These liquid based products are labeled as ClO2 as the active ingredient, with concentration ranges from 0.1% to 5%. The identification of the ClO2 as an active ingredient is misleading or a misnomer. At the concentration range ( 0.1% to 5% ) , true ClO2 solution is strong yellow or yellowish gold color, very unstable ( short shelf life ) , and illegal to ship. What those products contain are merely the precursor of ClO2 - sodium chlorite solution buffered at a neutral or alkaline pH, and it is usually plain in color. Buffered sodium chlorite has some biocidal properties. However, it is not effective and not a broad-spectrum sanitizer/disinfectant, and requires at least 20 times more concentration to achieve the same job completed by true ClO2. In addition, these products are more expensive due to the higher amount of chemical required and expensive shipping costs associated with liquid weight vs. dry weight of Avanflex™.

Application of Avanflex™
The ClO2 solution generated from Avanflex™ can be used for mopping, spraying, soaking, dipping and fogging. Please refer to Avanflex™ ClO2 Delivery System Protocol for detailed use instruction. The application of Avanflex™ includes hospital/clinic/nursing home, sport/gym, hotel, household, food processing facilities, animal facilities, disaster area, industrial shipping container. Odorsicence™ is in the process of submitting Avanflex™ for USEPA product registration for broad spectrum efficacy and hospital environment efficacy claims.
