This patent pending system provides two functions in one: converting from a fashionable sunglass to low profile protective goggle. Its' ballistic, anti-fog lenses can be changed in seconds when weather or activity dictates the need. Unique "Ultra-Foam" seals the eye orbits providing protection from extreme changes in body temperature or weather temperature. The temples disengage with a push of a button and can be replaced with a snap loaded elastic headband. This special eyewear combines wind protective fashion with ballistic function.

Lens Anatomy
We produce our lenses using the precise amount of dyes in the manufacturing process eliminating eye fatigue and strain. Our lenses block 100% UV rays, are made of a shatterproof selenite polycarbonate, and far exceed ANSI Z287.1 and Z80.3 safety standards. We then formulate and die cut each lens to the maximum density and thickness creating one of the strongest lenses available, while still maintaining distortion free clarity. These features, combined with a wide selection of performance enhancing tints, work together to provide the ultimate in eye protection without optical compromise.
SG Series MKI Tactical Goggle- by an INS Special Agent / Non-Deadly Force Instructor Trainer 
During the week of August 19, 2001, a team of defensive tactics instructors from the San Francisco Office of the U.S. Department of Justice, Immigration and Naturalization Service conducted a field test of the SG Series MKI Tactical Goggle. The primary objective was to determine if the SG Series MKI would protect an officer's eyes from the effects of pepper spray in the event of an accidental exposure. The other objective was to determine if the goggle would cut the face of the officer should they receive an accidental blow to the face, during an altercation. ... We were very impressed with the SG Series MKI Tactical Goggle and I believe that our test proves that this goggle will significantly protect our officers during tactical field operations...
Ballistic Testing- Fragment Simulating Projectile
Testing was conducted using a 5.8 grain fragment simulating projectile with a target velocity range of 640 - 660 feet per second.

 - This goggle was never tested against airborne pathogens, but its flexible yet air-tight foam lining wrap around your eyes very secure. It is being used in the desert by the US military. They should aid in shielding your eyes from droplets and certain particles.
